Essential Questions
To be able to answer before applying:

Before applying to join Rainbow Getaways, you should be able to answer these essential questions. As a new advisor, the TRIPKIT is designed to help you build a business plan and be able to answer these questions confidently.

How extensive is your network? While friends and family are not your ideal long-term clients, having a list of at least 50 people will help set you up for success as you launch your new travel business.

Do you have a business plan? When you join Rainbow Getaways, you are opening your own small business, and having a formal business plan is important to ensure focus in your first few years.

Do you have the capital to start a small business? As a small business owner, having access to capital is critical to ensure you don't stall out before you even have a chance to get started. We'll talk more about the start-up and annual dues commitment in the FAQ section, but before applying to join Rainbow Getaways, you should be confident that you can cover your business expenses in the first few years.

How comfortable are you with public speaking and engagements? Growing your client base is about personal connections. Attending public events, sponsoring fundraisers, and joining lead groups are great ways to do this. Still, you need to be comfortable speaking to others about your business.

Do you have the flexibility and capital to attend industry events? One of the best ways to build your network of partners and stay up-to-date with industry trends is by attending industry events. Some of these are virtual, and others are in-person, but either way, you should desire to attend these events at least a few times a year.

How comfortable are you with sales? This is first and foremost a career in sales. You should be just as comfortable selling yourself as you are the travel package.
